The purpose of San Jose Virtual School is to provide an accredited online learning option for K-12 students nationwide who need an alternative to the traditional school setting. San Jose Virtual School provides students with accessible educational opportunities through a virtual learning environment that creates flexibility for time and location allowing students to meet or exceed their personalized learning goals.

Dr. Veronica Allende-Ayad
Dr. Allende is an experienced educator with extensive years of practice in the field of K-12 education. Her career began in Brooklyn, New York where she was born and raised. She attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she obtained her B.A. degree in Art, and Nova Southeastern University where she obtained her M.S. degree in Education. She has an Ed.S. degree in Education Administration and an Ed.D. degree in Leadership and Management from William H. Taft University.
Mrs. Chelsey Briggs
Mrs. Briggs has been an educator for several years serving as lead teacher and as department head. She attended Ohio University located in Athens, Ohio where she obtained a B.S. degree in Environmental Geography and Geology. She is also certified in Geographic Information Systems and Environmental Studies. Her graduate studies were pursued at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. She obtained her M.Ed. degree in Secondary Education focusing on Curriculum Design and Instruction. She was born and raised in Ohio in a small town called Jackson. She is married to an astounding man who is a service member in the United States Navy. She has two dogs; a beagle named Chloe and a chiweenie named Leonidas. For fun, she loves to run!
